WHAT IS HALLOWEEN WITHOUT A WITCH'S HAT!!!!

Last weekend a few of the girls and I got together.

Our mission was to have a lite bite to eat .. and then...decorate some witches hats....

...of course I had to decorate the table...

so I made place card holders, napkins rings, and paper cones in keeping with the Halloween spirit!!

Then we had a nice bowl of yummy onion soup...

After lunch, we got down to serious business...

This is my hat...

and this is what some of the ladies came up with....

Sandi, Beverly, and Marlene...

This was Marlene's finished hat...

Grace had a previous dinner engagement. So she had to leave early. BUT... she emailed me pictures later that evening and OMG!!! her hat came out Beautiful!!

and the other ladies.....

Diane, Nancy and MJ with their hats...

THE END..........or... is it???

WWHHHHAAAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHA!!!!!

OK...so after everyone left...the skeletons and I did something!!
WE COPIED!! someones hat!! HAHAHAHAHA!!
I had too!!! I loved Marlene's hat sooooo much, that I had to make one for me...This is how my version came out...

Thank you ladies for such a lovely inspirational day!!!

I dedicate this hat (doesn't mean she is getting it! lol) to Carla Gizzi, who could not stay for the hat decorating...She had to leave right after lunch to go to an event she was having at her Shop in Asbury Park. I know she really wanted to make a hat and she was missed..

Now don't forget! It is only 2 days until Halloween!!
If you leave a comment, I am having a random drawing on Sunday night...the winner will receive something pictured on my halloween blog...
