A little bit of France my way...

This is the entrance way to my home...

I like to dream that when I walk into my house, I am entering a little french cottage in the countryside.... Hope you enjoy!!

We purchased this tapestry over 20 years ago at an estate sale...I love it!! What could be more French than Napoleon!!!

Here's a nice antique lion clock. His eyes shift !!!
I love this antique carved figural candlestick pair. I believe they are originally from France along with the sideboard they are sitting on!!!

This pair of Antique Victorian Beadwork's are part of a small collection I have.  I didn't have anywhere to put them on the wall, so I tucked them away nicely in their spot. I get to see them everyday when I come home. They make me happy!!!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me...always a pleasure...

A little corner in my Kitchen!

I am very influenced
by all things french!!

For French Inspiration Thursday,
I thought I would share
a little corner in my kitchen.

I have a passion for dress forms.
I think I own 18
(we will have to talk further about that at another time, lol)

I love dressing them up, either seasonal or with lot's of bling.

Both of these were gifts from my adoring husband.

I found this at a local flea market. Not really sure what it is, maybe some type of seeder, but had to have it.

I also love primitive portrait paintings..I am fascinated by them. I purchased these from a market in PA several years back. I think them to be in perfectly worn and chipped condition without any frames....

and let's not forget about the toile wallpaper....
